Are you in a job or career that no longer feels right for you? Are you yearning for 'something more'?

I know how it feels. I used to feel exactly like that. I didn't exactly hate my work, but I didn't love it either. I felt exhausted, disillusioned, and found it harder and harder to pretend to care about my job.

I decided to take the plunge and move my career into a new direction when I was dangerously close to burnout, and I'm so glad I did.

Are you ready to craft a career (and lifestyle!) that works for YOU, rather than feeling like fitting a square peg into a round hole?

I was too...

Here’s what I do in a nutshell: I help ambitious, but unfulfilled professionals (like you!) change careers.

Let's stop chasing what others think is good for you, and focus instead on what motivates and excites you. Let's follow your curiosities, find out what you really care about, and build a career around that.

Imagine yourself 5 years from now. How would you feel if you were still in the same job, or in the same industry? Wouldn't you wish that you've taken the plunge, and acted on your hunches?

Sure, choosing not to take the safe, easy option is scary, but it's also empowering, liberating and oh-so satisfying.

Do you remember the last time you felt genuinely excited about work?

I'm here to teach you how to do it (in a methodical way)

Because here’s the thing: figuring out what you should do with your career & changing careers isn’t rocket science. A lot of research has been done on these topics, and it has taught us very clear & practical lessons on how to find and do work that excites you, and gets the best out of you.

If you’re feeling unchallenged, demotivated, and disillusioned with the work you do, and want to move your career into a new direction, so that you can genuinely feel excited again about the work you do, you’ve come to the right place.

I'm here to help you to figure out what to do next in your career, and will provide you with the roadmap to transition into a new career - whether that’s working for a cool company that you respect and admire, or doing your own thing. My approach is methodical, highly actionable, and focused on you taking action. I will give you plenty of projects, assignments, and challenges, so you don’t get stuck in analysis paralysis.

In case you’re wondering: I’m a certified professional coach. I acquired my coaching certification through iPEC’s ICF-Accredited Training Program. I'm also a qualified NLP Practitioner, and hypnotherapist.

If there’s one thing I'm sure of, it’s that life’s too short and too precious to do work that doesn't suit you - be it professionally or personally.

I feel lucky and blessed to know that there can be another way, and I'm on a mission to spread the career change lessons & strategies I've learnt along the way, so that ambitious, but unfulfilled corporate professionals (like me, at the time!) have the tools, know-how & confidence to re-invent themselves professionally, and feel excited about their work again.

Since then it’s been an exhilarating journey.

I left the corporate world, and became my own boss. I’m a professionally trained and certified coach helping people say goodbye to work that, well… doesn’t work for them.

I do work I absolutely adore, and live my life the way I want to. I get to choose how I work, where I work, and when I work. As a Mum of two young pre-school boys, that’s the biggest gift I could imagine.

I decided life is too short and precious to not follow your heart and go after the things you want most.

I decided that from then and there on, I would put my health, happiness and dreams first. I would prioritise what’s most important to me, regardless of what other people say or think of it.

I decided that if I wanted to make a positive impact on this world, there’s no better time than to start small and start now.

After enduring this for 1.5 years, something clicked.

By then, I had seen a whole lot of medical specialists and was told my poor health was likely stress related.
To me, being in a job and in a career that wasn’t right for me, was stress.
To me, not going after my deepest dreams, desires and ambition, was stress.

So after one particularly bad spell of migraine, I handed in my notice.

Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom to realise something’s got to change.

I got really bad migraines, which kept me bed-bound 3 – 5 days each month, without fail. Can you imagine? Three weeks at work, one week off. That’s not fun and that’s not a way to live.

Until things started to get bad. I was uninspired and unhappy. They Sunday Blues became a real thing for me. I started dreading Mondays on Sundays. Anxiety started to take its grip on me. Not just on Sundays, but at work too. There were times when I literally couldn’t read emails I received. There was nothing wrong with my eyes: I could read the words, but I couldn’t process what the words meant. I had to read each sentence two, three, four times.

I remember one day when I was trying to make sense of yet another email. As I was silently repeating the words, an overwhelming feeling came over me that someone was trying to choke me. I literally couldn’t breath and started to feel really dizzy and faint.

I never did anything with my dreams and ambitions for thousands of, seemingly valid, reasons. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted. I doubted myself. I didn’t know how to make it happen. No one around me seemed to go after what they really wanted. So I just sucked it up.

Yet I had these dreams and ambitions to, someday, work for myself and making a positive impact on the world, instead of on some corporate’s bottom line.

Deep down inside I knew this wasn’t the path for me, but I thought a corporate career is what you do.

We all have dreams, desires and ambitions, but sometimes, somewhere along the way they get lost in life.

Maybe you have been told you should stop dreaming, that you should get real, that ‘this is life’.
Maybe you’ve had too many naysayers around you.
Maybe you doubt yourself and don’t believe you have what it takes.
Maybe you believe that those dreams, hopes and ambitions are nothing but flaky and unrealistic aspirations.
Maybe you feel there’s too much at stake and that it’s too risky to do what you really want, but at the same time you can’t stop thinking about it.
Maybe you just don’t know how to make it happen.

I know all too well how it feels to have dreams, desires and ambitions that got lost in life.

I might now be my own boss and going after my dreams, desires and ambitions in so many different ways, but that wasn’t always the case. I started my career in the corporate world and whilst I enjoyed it for the first few years, things shifted quickly.
